Happy Thanksgiving!
Just wanted to stop out here real quick to wish everyone a very Happy Thanksgiving!
You’ll also notice I’ve added a few things to my sidebar. I’m working on it. I signed up for sitemeter to keep track of the number of my visitors and I also signed up for feedburner so that you guys can subscribe either by e-mail or the rss feed.
I’ve gotten a few other tips from the neo-con hubby - so - I’ll be adding some more stuff at later dates. I guess the best way to build these blogs is to network and join all those social type sites.
Also - just wanted to add a couple “thankfuls” for today.
I am most thankful that we will have a President for the people for at least the next 4 years!
I am very thankful for my husband and my wonderful daughter.
I am thankful for the bounties that God has given us all.
What are you thankful for?
The award thing is simply that: recognition of other bloggers in silly html form. I’ve never thought of it in terms of marketing before, and I’m usually pretty cynical.
At any rate, thanks for coming by, although I’d recommend reading posts that aren’t all dedicated to other bloggers:)
That’s pretty funny David - totally unintended consequences! However, the ad has changed now. Phew!
threedegrees, I think because I’m in my “marketing” mode in trying how to figure out how to build this blog so that is probably the reason why I automatically thought of it that way - you know - as an outsider looking in for the first time. It does seem like a great way to get your blog out there by getting others to mention your blog by giving out an award.
And..BTW - I have been reading many other posts as I’ve been doing my entrecard dropping. It’s just that I’ve seen a lot of posts regarding receiving and giving awards.
