Is that guy really serious?
Sorry. I couldn’t think of a better title. So, here’s how this story goes. I didn’t write anything yesterday because I was pretty upset. Livid actually. I received a comment on my first post - you know - the one about socialism not being so bad and that we should nationalize health care and provide basic care to all, etc etc -
Well, the comment left said that I was receiving an award for that discussion (which I totally thought was kinda ironic since me and threedegrees were recently exchanging thoughts about awards given to other blogs) and left a link for me to go get it.
Well, when I get over there - the guy totally blasted my discussion…and…he calls himself “The BoBo.” So - the title of this discussion. Is that guy serious? Really? I haven’t figured out how to put links in these discussions yet - but - even if I knew how, I wouldn’t give him the satisfaction. He gave me what he calls The BoBo of The Week Award - which from what I can figure out - is his immature way of baiting liberals.
My husband says he’s a somewhat popular blogger in the neo-con circles. So What! Is that how he became popular? By bashing and baiting liberal blogs? I’m sorry, but, I’m above that. I refuse to stoop to his level. I know, I mentioned him here - but - that was the only way to let you guys know who it was. Have any of you had any run-ins with him?
He purchased a spot through EntreCard. I need to figure out how to cancel it. I won’t give him the satisfaction of advertising on my blog after he goes and does that. Anyway, that hasn’t discouraged me at all from continuing this blog. In fact, it just providers further encouragement! Just like the tag-line says - Putting Neo-Cons outta bizness! If I can figure a way - he’ll be the first! LOL.

How to link to another site:
While you’re writing your post, open another tab and find whatever page it is you want to link to. Copy the address and click back to your draft. Highlight a word or sentence that refers to the site, maybe the name of the site. While it’s highlighted, click the icon that looks like a piece of chain (second row, directly under the picture of the tree, which is next to the youtube icon). A separate window will open, and you paste the address you copied where it says “link URL”. Hit the insert button on the bottom left and you’re good.
I know it sounds like a bit of work, but once you do it a few times, it’s pretty easy and fairly self-explanatory.
To cancel an ad on Entrecard, all you have to do is go to your dashboard and on the right hand side there is a queue of ads that you have approved. You can hit cancel at the bottom of the card.
Never let the right wingnuts get you down. They’re going through an odd period right now where they have to witness an across the board repudiation of their hollow, failed philosophies. It was bad enough when they were wrong and in power, but now that they’re outright losers, it’s going to get worse. A voice of sanity on your part will be quite welcome.

Kim - thanks for the support. I won’t be returning his drops either. You’re right though - those guys just don’t get it.
If it helps any, I think you have a wonderful Blog and I like your writing style. I have also locked horns with certain “neocons” over their ideology, but in the end I just realize that Voltaire was right and just let them tottle off with their brand of “politics.” Don’t be upset by him (or some of the others such as “Political Conservatives” and “Political Rants from the Right”) and continue to write what you know and express yourself, otherwise their “patriotism by intimidation” will win out in the end.

Politics After 50 - you’re quite funny! However, I don’t think I would ever be using that type of language on my blog! LOL. I guess I’ll just have to suffer through it if they do happen to venture by again.
