Hi. My name is Sarah and I am the author of this blog. My husband says I’m a “noob.” This is my first ever blog. So, please go easy on me until I figure all this stuff out. As you can tell by the name, I was inspired to start this blog as the result of the elections and Barack Obama.
I threw that tag-line in there for my hubby! He’s one of those neo-cons. Yes, we have different views on politics. He has his own blog. We made a deal. I won’t comment, bash, or mention his blog and he won’t do any of that to me either. He actually convinced me this would be a good idea. Even though we don’t see eye-to-eye on politics, we generally have harmony in the household because we don’t talk about politics.
I never really was in to politics until this past year. I always heard the stuff my husband was saying - but - really didn’t comment much about it, until Barack Obama came on the scene. The harmony started getting a little strained. So, now that Barack Obama has been elected, and in order to help keep the peace, we agreed it would be a good idea for me to start this blog. Anything we have to say about politics, we will do it online. Problem solved!
The purpose of this blog will be for me to keep track of President Obama and to help his efforts in unifying this great country. I believe he has some really great ideas and I hope to further those ideas here. Like I said, I am new to this whole blog scene. My neo-con hubby has promised to help me learn how to do this and to make it grow. Wouldn’t that be great if my blog becomes more popular than his? 
Up until this year, my online travels usually took me to e-bay, amazon, and other online shopping websites. I almost never followed the news or even understood what a blog was. So, like I said - please be patient with me as I figure this out. I hope you will continue to come back if you like what I have to say.
